In response to pandemic restrictions, the SAF Music & Drama Company reimagined their annual live stage performance as a virtual musical for the National Day Observance Ceremony. I directed this special production, which paid tribute to Singapore’s musical journey — from the golden sounds of the 1960s and nostalgic hits of the 1980s to iconic National Day Parade songs that continue to unite us today. This project was a meaningful blend of history, culture, and creative adaptation during a uniquely challenging time.
